Sept 1 (Reuters) - Canada’s main stock index futures were little changed on Friday ahead of U.S. non-farm payrolls data.
September futures on the S&P TSX index were down 0.04 percent at 7:15 a.m. ET.
Markit manufacturing PMI SA data for August is due at 09:30 a.m. ET
Canada’s main stock posted a three-week high on Thursday as commodities rallied and data showed rapid growth in the domestic economy, while shares of Toronto Dominion Bank had its biggest one-day gain in 18 months after the company reported strong earnings.
Dow Jones Industrial Average e-mini futures were up 0.26 percent at 7:15 a.m. ET, while S&P 500 e-mini futures were up 0.2 percent and Nasdaq 100 e-mini futures were up 0.23 percent.
Canada’s National Energy Board will hold a series of public hearings beginning this year to determine the route for Kinder Morgan Inc’s Trans Mountain pipeline expansion, the regulator said on Thursday.
Mexico and Canada would remain in the North American Free Trade Agreement even if the Trump administration abandoned the accord, Mexican Economy Minister Ildefonso Guajardo said on Thursday.
