March 4 (Reuters) - Canada’s main stock index rose on Wednesday, lifted by gains in oil and gold stocks, while markets waited for an interest rate decision from the country’s central bank.
* At 9:30 a.m. ET (14:30 GMT), the Toronto Stock Exchange’s S&P/TSX composite index was up 239.65 points, or 1.46%, at 16,663.27.
