TORONTO, April 28 (Reuters) - Canada’s main stock index ended barely higher on Tuesday as a sharp decline in shares of oil and gas companies largely offset big gains for gold miners.
The Toronto Stock Exchange’s S&P/TSX composite index unofficially closed up 1.99 points, or 0.01 percent, at 15,346.07. Six of the 10 main sectors were higher. (Reporting by Alastair Sharp; Editing by Leslie Adler)
