TORONTO, June 11 (Reuters) - Canada’s main stock index ended lower on Thursday, hurt by retreating energy and mining issues as prices for crude and other commodities slipped.
The Toronto Stock Exchange’s S&P/TSX composite index unofficially closed down 58.16 points, or 0.39 percent, at 14,830.88. Eight of the 10 main index sectors fell. (Reporting by Alastair Sharp; Editing by Peter Galloway)
