TORONTO, Aug 14 (Reuters) - Canada’s main stock index gained on Friday in a broad but uninspired move higher that missed the large and struggling energy and mining sectors.
The Toronto Stock Exchange’s S&P/TSX composite index unofficially closed up 39.48 points, or 0.28 percent, at 14,277.88. The index fell 0.2 percent on the week. (Reporting by Alastair Sharp; Editing by James Dalgleish)
