TORONTO, Aug 2 (Reuters) - Canada’s main stock index fell on Tuesday as losses for financial and energy stocks weighed and oil prices only partially recovered after falling up to 10 percent in just one week.
The Toronto Stock Exchange’s S&P/TSX composite index was down 60.52 points, or 0.42 percent, at 14,522.22, shortly after the open. Eight of the index’s 10 main groups were lower. (Reporting by Fergal Smith Editing by W Simon)
