TORONTO, Aug 3 (Reuters) - Canada’s main stock index opened slightly lower on Wednesday, as materials stocks fell after sharp gains in the previous session.
The Toronto Stock Exchange’s S&P/TSX composite index was down 23.59 points, or 0.16 percent, at 14,453.42. Six of its 10 main sectors were lower. (Reporting by Alastair Sharp Editing by W Simon)
