TORONTO, Dec 29 (Reuters) - Canada’s main stock index closed higher on Thursday, as a rally in gold miners helped propel the TSX to its strongest close since April 2015.
The Toronto Stock Exchange’s S&P/TSX composite index was up 61.02 points, or 0.40 percent, at 15,422.12. Eight of the index’s 10 main groups advanced. (Reporting by Solarina Ho; Editing by Meredith Mazzilli)
