CANADA STOCKS-TSX opens lower as weaker commodities weigh

TORONTO, May 10 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index opened
lower on Friday as sharp drops in the prices of commodities such
as gold and oil caused declines in materials and energy stocks.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index
was down 27.71 points, or 0.22 percent, at 12,516.19
shortly after the open.
