TORONTO, Oct 19 (Reuters) - Canada’s main stock index rose on Thursday as financial and industrial shares climbed, while lower oil prices weighed on energy stocks.
The Toronto Stock Exchange’s S&P/TSX composite index unofficially closed up 35.84 points, or 0.23 percent, at 15,818. Five of the index’s 10 main groups ended higher. (Reporting by Fergal Smith; Editing by Sandra Maler)
