TORONTO, April 3 (Reuters) - Canada’s main stock index fell on Tuesday as declines for financial and gold mining shares offset gains for energy and auto part stocks.
The Toronto Stock Exchange’s S&P/TSX composite index unofficially closed down 32.69 points, or 0.21 percent, at 15,180.76. Seven of the index’s 10 main groups ended lower. (Reporting by Fergal Smith Editing by Chris Reese)
