CANADA STOCKS-TSX opens higher as energy shares gain

May 14 (Reuters) - Canada’s main stock index opened higher on Monday, helped by gains in energy shares due to a rise in oil prices.

* At 9:31 a.m. ET (1331 GMT), the Toronto Stock Exchange’s S&P/TSX Composite Index rose 33.54 points, or 0.21 percent, to 16,016.86.
