Sept 12 (Reuters) - Canada’s main stock index opened lower on Wednesday as worries over the escalating trade war between the United States and China weighed on investor sentiment.
* At 9:31 a.m. ET (13:31 GMT), the Toronto Stock Exchange’s S&P/TSX composite index was down 13.69 points, or 0.09 percent, at 16,080.56.
