CANADA STOCKS-TSX opens higher on gains in material shares

Jan 25 (Reuters) - Canada’s main stock index opened higher on Friday, driven by shares of precious metal miners as demand for gold, a safe-haven asset, rose due to concerns on global growth and political uncertainties.
