Feb 27 (Reuters) - Canada’s main stock index opened lower on Wednesday, tracking a drop in global markets, as tensions flared up between nuclear-armed neighbours India and Pakistan.
* At 9:30 a.m. ET (1430 GMT), the Toronto Stock Exchange’s S&P/TSX composite index was down 33.98 points, or 0.21 percent, at 16,033.93.
