March 5 (Reuters) - Canada’s main stock index opened higher on Tuesday, helped by gains in energy shares on the back of rising oil prices.
* At 9:30 a.m. ET (1430 GMT), the Toronto Stock Exchange’s S&P/TSX composite index was up 39.14 points, or 0.24 percent, at 16,077.27.
