Dec 9 (Reuters) - Stock futures are pointing to a lower open for Canada’s main stock index on Monday, as crude prices slipped on weak China export data.
December futures on the S&P/TSX index were down 0.12% at 7:00 a.m. ET.
Canada’s housing starts data for November and building permits data for October are due at 8:15 a.m. ET and 8:30 a.m. ET, respectively.
The Toronto Stock Exchange’s S&P/TSX composite index closed up 0.84% at 16,996.97 on Friday.
Dow Jones Industrial Average e-mini futures were down 0.1% at 7:00 a.m. ET, while S&P 500 e-mini futures were down 0.1% and Nasdaq 100 e-mini futures were down 0.08%.
