Toronto stocks dip at open on weak financials

TORONTO, Dec 27 (Reuters) - The Toronto Stock Exchange's
main index opened slightly lower on Thursday as a sell-off in
financial shares was offset by an advance in the materials
sector as the price of gold gained.
The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was down 14.11
points, or 0.1 percent, at 13,680.73 just after the open.
