CANADA STOCKS-TSX opens higher as commodity prices firm

 TORONTO, July 19 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock market
index opened higher on Tuesday as commodity prices firmed after
a selloff prompted by the U.S. and European debt crises.
 The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index
.GSPTSE opened up 6.97 points at 13,261.11 and then extended
gains.
