CANADA STOCKS-TSX drops as lower financials offset Greek deal

TORONTO, Feb 9 (Reuters) - Canada’s main stock index turned negative on Thursday morning as losses among financial shares offset gains in mining and energy shares after Greek leaders clinched a highly anticipated debt deal.

The Toronto Stock Exchange’s S&P/TSX composite index was down 17.15 points, or 0.1 percent, at 12,503.87 after opening higher. (Reporting By Jon Cook; Editing by Peter Galloway)
