Toronto stock index falls as credit fears grip

TORONTO, March 6 (Reuters) - The Toronto Stock Exchange’s main index lost more than 200 points on Thursday, weighed down by credit market concerns and profit-taking in commodities.

The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE unofficially closed down 234.08 points, or 1.7 percent, at 13,369.24. (Reporting by Natalie Armstrong; Editing by Peter Galloway)
