Toronto stock index turns negative

TORONTO, July 10 (Reuters) - The Toronto Stock Exchange’s main index erased its early morning gains and turned negative on Thursday, yanked down by the heavy-weight energy and financials sectors.

The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE, which jumped 100 points minutes after the open, was down 1.72 points at 13,609.12. (Reporting by Jennifer Kwan; Editing by Peter Galloway)
