Toronto stocks falter as commodities drag

TORONTO, Aug 8 (Reuters) - The Toronto Stock Exchange’s main index finished lower on Friday, held down as resource issues fell alongside commodity prices.

The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE unofficially closed down 55.53 points, or 0.41 percent, at 13,329.64. (Reporting by Leah Schnurr; editing by Rob Wilson)
