CANADA STOCKS-TSX rattled by weak financials, energy shares

TORONTO, Nov 19 (Reuters) - The Toronto Stock Exchange’s main index dropped more than 200 points by late morning on Wednesday due to steep drops in the heavily weighted financial and energy sectors.

The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was down 204.00 points, or 2.31 percent, at 8,631.73. The financial index was down 4 percent, while the energy group was off 3 percent. (Reporting by Frank Pingue; editing by Rob Wilson)
