TORONTO, Jan 19 (Reuters) - Toronto’s main stock index fell at the open on Monday as a drop in oil prices sparked a selloff in the energy sector that weighed on the broader index.
The Toronto Stock Exchange’s S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE fell 56.14 points, or 0.63 percent, to 8,864.26 at the open. Nine of the TSX’s 10 sectors were lower. (Reporting by Frank Pingue; editing by Peter Galloway)
