CANADA STOCKS-TSX falls 4 pct on economic outlook

TORONTO, Jan 20 (Reuters) - Toronto’s main stock index fell 3.95 percent on Tuesday as a relentlessly gloomy global economic outlook spurred a broad-based selloff led by energy and financial shares.

The Toronto Stock Exchange’s S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE unofficially closed down 349.50 points at 8,491.98.
