CANADA STOCKS-TSX down 3 pct as U.S. auto woes hit

 TORONTO, March 30 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index
opened sharply lower on Monday as commodity prices pulled back
and fresh troubles in the U.S. auto sector hit investor
sentiment.
 The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was down 269.03
points, or 3.05 percent, at 8,552.03 in early trading.
