TORONTO, May 15 (Reuters) - Toronto’s main stock index edged higher after market open on Friday as nearly all sectors advanced, except for the energy group, which faltered with lower oil prices.
The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE rose 12.00 points, or 0.12 percent, to 9,861.20. Nine of the index’s 10 main groups opened higher. (Reporting by Ka Yan Ng; Editing by Jeffrey Hodgson)
