CANADA STOCKS-TSX rises 1 percent as resource shares climb

TORONTO, May 22 (Reuters) - Toronto’s main stock index rose 1 percent on Friday morning, rebounding after a 2.8 percent tumble in the previous session, as resource issues climbed on firm commodity prices.

The S&P/TSX composite index <.GSPTSE was up 104.01 points, or 1.05 percent, at 10,053.60. (Reporting by Jennifer Kwan; Editing by Jeffrey Hodgson)
