CANADA STOCKS-TSX turns positive as banks rise on BMO

TORONTO, May 26 (Reuters) - Toronto’s main stock index turned positive on Tuesday morning as a rally in the index’s financial group, spurred by better-than-expected Bank of Montreal (BMO.TO) results, overcame weak resources.

The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE rose 1.28 points to 10,070.78. Earlier, it had fallen nearly 1 percent. (Reporting by Ka Yan Ng; editing by Peter Galloway)
