CANADA STOCKS-Oils, financials drag TSX down

TORONTO, July 7 (Reuters) - Toronto’s main stock index closed sharply lower on Tuesday as doubts about economic recovery spurred risk aversion, pulling down heavyweight energy and bank shares.

The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE unofficially closed down 190.66 points, or 1.9 percent, at 9,836.77. Nine of the index’s 10 main groups were lower. (Reporting by Ka Yan Ng; editing by Peter Galloway)
