TORONTO, July 21 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index fell 1 percent on Tuesday afternoon after six straight days of gains as the mining-heavy materials sector weighed on the index.
The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE fell 111.88 points, or 1.06 percent, to 10,428.83. Six of the TSX's 10 subindexes were lower. (Reporting by Nina Lex; editing by Peter Galloway)
