CANADA STOCKS-TSX drops as China selling weighs

TORONTO, Aug 19 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index fell
1.3 percent at the open on Wednesday following a selloff in
Chinese stocks that dented confidence about the extent of
global economic recovery.
The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE dropped 134.64
points, or 1.26 percent, to 10,539.20. All 10 sectors were
lower, led by near-2 percent declines in both the key energy
and materials groups.
