CANADA STOCKS-TSX turns lower after U.S. homes data

TORONTO, Feb 24 (Reuters) - Toronto’s main stock index turned lower on Wednesday after the release of data showing U.S. new home sales fell unexpectedly in January.

The Toronto Stock Exchange’s S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was down 6.05 points, or 0.05 percent, at 11,520.66, after rising nearly 60 points earlier. (Reporting by Ka Yan Ng; editing by Peter Galloway)
