CANADA STOCKS-TSX turns negative on weak financials

TORONTO, March 31 (Reuters) - Toronto’s main stock market index turned negative on Wednesday as weak financial and industrial issues overpowered firm oil and gold shares.

The Toronto Stock Exchange’s S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was down 2.15 points at 12,042.06. ($1=$1.02 Canadian) (Reporting by Scott Anderson; editing by Peter Galloway)
