CANADA STOCKS-TSX opens higher on oil prices, US jobs data

TORONTO, April 5 (Reuters) - (Reuters) - Toronto’s main stock market index opened higher on Monday as oil prices topped $85 a barrel and data showed U.S. employers created jobs last month, boosting hopes for a sustained economic recovery.

The Toronto Stock Exchange’s S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was up 41.39 points, or 0.34 percent, at 12,192.45
