CANADA STOCKS-TSX up on consumer issues, banks

TORONTO, April 26 (Reuters) - Toronto’s main stock index finished higher for a sixth straight session on Monday, helped by strength in consumer discretionary issues and financials.

The Toronto Stock Exchange’s S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE unofficially finished up 41.33 points, or 0.34 percent, at 12,280.97. (Reporting by Ka Yan Ng; editing by Rob Wilson)
