TORONTO, May 5 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index tumbled at the open on Wednesday as fears that Greece's debt crisis would spread to other euro zone countries rattled markets, driving investors to the safety of the U.S. dollar and hitting commodity prices hard.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE fell 155.28 points, or 1.29 percent, to 11,875.58 at the open. (Reporting by Jennifer Kwan; editing by Peter Galloway)
