TORONTO, May 27 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock market index opened higher on Thursday, supported by rising commodity prices and a rebound in global equity markets, even though the quarterly results of several Canadian banks may have disappointed the market.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was up 75.37 points, or 0.65 percent, at 11,619.27 at the open. (Reporting by Jennifer Kwan; editing by Peter Galloway)
