TORONTO, July 5 (Reuters) - Toronto’s main stock index fell on Monday in a broad retreat, on investor doubts about the strength of the global economic recovery.
The Toronto Stock Exchange’s S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE fell 105.10 points, or 0.94 percent, to unofficially close at 11,090.96, in thin volumes. Earlier, the index fell more than 1 percent to hit its lowest point since Feb. 5.
Nine of the TSX’s 10 main sectors were lower, with six down more than 1 percent. (Reporting by Ka Yan Ng; editing by Rob Wilson)
