TORONTO, Oct 4 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index closed lower on Monday as falling metal prices pulled down heavyweight resource shares.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE unofficially closed down 43.14 points, or 0.32 percent, at 12,322.94.
