TORONTO, June 1 (Reuters) - Toronto’s main stock index slumped on Wednesday on a broad selloff in financial and energy issues.
The Toronto Stock Exchange’s S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE lose 137.57 points, or 1 percent, to 13,665.31. Seven of the 10 main groups were down. The financial and energy groups, two of the index’s heaviest sectors, were both off more than 1 percent. (Reporting by Ka Yan Ng; editing by Rob Wilson)
