CANADA STOCKS-TSX edges higher near open as resources lead

 TORONTO, June 7 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index was
edged higher after the open as a modest rise in commodity
prices helped energy and materials rebound from Monday's
slump.
 The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index
.GSPTSEwas up 3.94 points at 13,322.60 shortly after the
opened.
