TORONTO, April 11 (Reuters) - Toronto’s main stock index ened sharply lower on Monday in a broad decline led by energy and materials shares, which fell with commodity prices.
The Toronto Stock Exchange’s S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE unofficially closed down 211.57 points, or 1.49 percent, at 13,996.86. (Reporting by Claire Sibonney; editing by Peter Galloway)
