CANADA STOCKS-TSX opens lower after Chinese data

TORONTO, May 11 (Reuters) - Toronto’s main stock index opened lower on Wednesday as resource-related issues fell on news that Chinese inflation eased in April, suggesting the world’s second-largest economy might be cooling.

The Toronto Stock Exchange’s S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE fell 0.38 points to 13,641.68. (Reporting by Solarina Ho; editing by Peter Galloway)
