CANADA STOCKS-TSX closes higher on golds, oils weigh

TORONTO, May 16 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index
finished higher on Monday, helped by gold miners, but retreated
from an earlier 1 percent gain as energy issues reversed course
to track falling crude and gasoline prices.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index
.GSPTSE unofficially closed up 14.19 points, or 0.11 percent,
at 13,391.35.
