TORONTO, Sept 16 (Reuters) - Toronto’s main stock index fell in early trade on Thursday, dragged down by weak oil prices and a decline in the index’s hefty financials group.
Shortly after the open, the S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was down 1.62 points at 12,143.22. It had opened up 1.17 points at 12,146.01. (Reporting by Jennifer Kwan; editing by Peter Galloway)
