TORONTO, June 17 (Reuters) - Toronto’s main stock index closed at its lowest level in seven months on Friday, dragged down by a sharp selloff in Research In Motion RIM.TO and sliding resource shares.
The Toronto Stock Exchange’s S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE unofficially ended down 62.14 points, or 0.5 percent, at 12,790.99. It was its weakest close since Nov. 16. (Reporting by Trish Nixon; editing by Peter Galloway)
