TORONTO, March 23 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index rose at the open on Wednesday, led up by gains in gold miners and financial issues.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was up 1.69 points, or 14,001.69 at the open.
Teck Resources was the lead decliner, shedding 2.05 percent to C$51.00, after the company lowered its full-year coal and copper sales outlook.[ID:nL3E7EN08P]
