Free agent cornerback Bashaud Breeland has visits scheduled with the Indianapolis Colts and Cleveland Browns this week after meetings with two AFC West teams, according to an ESPN report.

ESPN’s Rob Demovsky reported Saturday that Breeland would meet with the Oakland Raiders on Sunday and Monday, and then with the Kansas City Chiefs on Tuesday. Demovsky added on Monday that the cornerback also has visits with the Colts and Browns planned.

Breeland, 26, visited the Colts and the Arizona Cardinals in May, two months after his agreement to join the Carolina Panthers on a three-year, $24 million deal was nullified by a failed physical.

Multiple reports at the time said Breeland required a skin graft for a foot injury that he sustained on vacation after the season, but Demovsky reports Breeland is now “healthy and ready to go.”

A former fourth-round pick of the Washington Redskins, Breeland has played in 60 of a possible 64 games (57 starts), collecting eight interceptions and 60 passes defensed while forcing seven fumbles in four NFL seasons.

The Colts did not sign or draft a cornerback this offseason while letting Vontae Davis (released) and Rashaan Melvin (free agency) depart, leaving 2017 second-rounder Quincy Wilson as the only clear starter on the depth chart. Every cornerback on Indianapolis’ roster has fewer than 15 career starts, and only one (Pierre Desir, 13) has more than five.

The Browns overhauled their cornerback depth chart this offseason, trading away previous starters Jason McCourty and Jamar Taylor, signing free agents E.J. Gaines, TJ Carrie and Terrance Mitchell, and drafting Denzel Ward with the fourth overall pick.
